Embassy Spokesperson on the allegation of cyber attacks from China in a report released by the "Five Eyes alliance"
2024-02-08 16:25

Question: It is reported that the "Five Eyes alliance" recently released a report alleging that China conducted cyber attacks against the United States. The British side also stated that key infrastructure in the US and the UK may face security risks. What is the Embassy's comment?

Embassy Spokesperson: Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson has already refuted this. You may refer to his response.

What I want to emphasise is that the relevant report is the repetition of the same old tune, and is sheer fabrication and malicious slander, which we strongly condemn. We urge the so-called "Five Eyes alliance" members to refrain from wantonly making an issue of China, stop smearing and attacking China, and stop the trick of a thief crying thief.
