Ambassador Liu Xiaoming Hosts a Banquet in Honour of FCO Minister of State Jeremy Browne
2010-12-30 00:45

On December 22, on the eve of Christmas and New Year, Ambassador Liu Xiaoming invited Mr. Jeremy Browne, Minister of State at Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to his residence as a guest. They were accompanied by director-generals and directors in charge of China affairs from the FCO, Mr. Qin Gang, Minister of the Chinese Embassy and others.

In retrospection of China-UK relations over 2010, the two sides expressed their satisfaction over the good momentum of the bilateral relations and willingness to work together for the implementation of all agreement reached between the leaders of the two countries during Prime Minister David Cameron’s visit to China, to enhance high-level exchanges and dialogue, to expand the exchanges and cooperation in various fields and to achieve new development of China-UK relations in the coming year.

The two sides also exchanged views on the international and regional issues of mutual interest.
